Wednesday, or the hump of the week
The absolute BEST day of the week, the day of maximum hope that maybe, you might make it out of this week alive. A particularly good hump day can last you the rest of the week, and by Doomday morning (Monday) you survive by anticipating hump day. Nothing goes wrong on hump day

Most other days can be defined by hump day. Tuesday is the day before hump day. Thursday is one day after hump day. Except Friday is WOOOH!!! FREEDOM!!! Day, Saturday is Mostly Hungover day, and Sunday is PreDoom day.

Hump day has nothing to do with sex. Unless one wants it to. I like to declare the existence of hump day just to see people's faces. Usually being conservative and all

"Do you know what the best thing about Tuesdays are? Its the day before Hump Day!"
"What's hump day?"
"It's the hump of the week!!"
(they all shake their heads in pity)

taken from wikipedia:

An English language idiom for Wednesday is "hump day", a reference to making it through to the middle of the work week as getting "over the hump". It is also unofficially (and with some irony) referred to as "the peak of the week".

The term "hump day" was first used by the media on a Minneapolis, Minnesota radio station in 1965. It was thought to have been originated by an employee of Pako Corporation who only saw his girlfriend on Wednesdays and, because of the activities they did together, "hump day" stuck.

Basically you go up hill getting through work until wednesday and once you reach it or pass it the rest of the week is down hill.

Wednesday is Hump day to many folk because it is the middle of the workweek. It is not, nor has any historical relevance to anything Middle eastern; It is purely American in origin. Since Hump day is midweek, it tends to present the idea of an uphill climb early in the week, then a downhill coast from noontime Wednesday onward to Friday.

Have a great Saturn's Day!

Hump day is Wednesday. Theoretically, it is the only day that work gets done. Wednesday's child is full of woe!! That is why we wish one another happy hump day.

It typically refers to wednesday which for most people is the middle of their work week. After wednesday, you're past the middle, or "over the hump" and it's all downhill (or "clear sailing") to TGIF.

Because Wednesday is right in the middle of the week, so it is like you are at the top of the hill and you just have to coast through the rest of the week.
