Because of the gravitational changes during fullmoon, our bodies are affected by the forces of gravitation consciously and subconsciously. That's why we become "moody". The word "lunatic" actually comes from luna = moon. When it's fullmoon many become lunatics!

During last night's full moon, while I was driving from home to the grocery store and back again, no less that SIX different vehicles pulled out in front of me or ran stop signs or traffic lights! Normally the route is really quiet, and it's a small town so people usually drive very calmly; last night the place was a zoo... go figure.

It definitely affects people. It is probably a gravitational influence but whatever it is, it's real. Personally, it keeps me from sleeping for a couple of days. I meet a lot of people at work and during the 5 days around a full moon they tend to be very grumpy and irritable or down right odd in their behavior and for some reason we see a lot more people during full moon weeks than we do at other times.

The moon is always there whether it has sun rays hitting it or not. Just because you can only see a portion of it during part of the month doesn't mean it has gone away. The full moon just means it is getting full sun rays even though it's the dark of night here...

The only power there is that of gravity change during full moon. When my baby was born, there were so many babies, they were using drawers to keep them in. The nun who was my nurse said it is always that way during full moon---the gravity just seems to pull the babies out.
