as you know soft cookies are generally the best for eating but when it comes to tea time select hard cookies

you can simply make hard sugar cookies or buy those little butter cookies that seem specially made for tea time
i do not accept cookies bought at the store but some people like them

if you keep a spoon with you at tea time you can eat the little bits that may happen to fall off into your tea

tea and cookies is something enjoyable about life

Hob nob & chocolate hob nob. Also bourbons, if you bite a small peice out of opposite corners of the bourbon, dip 1 side into your tea and then suck, its fantastic! You get a soft chocolatey tea mixture. Im no good at explaining but try it, you'll understand what Im trying to say!!

Bourbons - the cream in the middle holds it all together making unfortunate accidents so much less likely. Never use a rich tea or digestive! Hobnobs also good.

Most definately the ginger nut. It has been proven to be the best for dunking due to the fact that it has a solid consistency even when slightly soggy.

Arrowroot are the best. They`re very much like Social tea bisquits but they don`t absorb the tea as quickly so they don`t get mushy as fast. I`m not sure but I think you can only get them in Canada.

Shortbread biscuits....slightly sweetens the tea, and doesn't leave an aftertaste in the mouth.

Hob Nob's & Rich Tea are nice.....but I like dipping Digestive cookies in tea. They stay firmer a little longer (at least until you get them to your mouth).

Sainsburys value digestive; just the right size for dunking whole.
