When I was very ill in hospital - I spent the night talking to a nurse who in the morning did not exist - I also 'smelt' my deceased Father by my bedside and felt comforted - he smelt of aftershave and cigars - nothing nasty! At a spiritualist meeting (I only went to observe, sceptic really) I was told that a 'couple were standing behind me protectively with their arms around me and they would always be there!' have to admit I was glad to hear that.........anyone else had similar experiences?

When I was like 12, my mom, brother and I, lived in the same apt that my grandma, mother and aunts shared 15 years earlier. Well I had the same room as my grandmother did. Well one night I was sleeping, woke up and looked over at my bedroom door and there was this big white figure standing at the door. It looked like a person, but not really. I asked who it was and why they were there. They never answered and then I just has this feeling of complete peace and calm, so I rolled over and went back to sleep. Woke up the next morning and told my mom about it. Her face went white and had the look of shock on it. Then she proceeded to tell me about a similar experience that my grandma had had several years earlier. She seen the figure in the same room, but opposite corner and had the same feeling of calm and peace...But the apt was really weird, had tons of 'spooky' experiences..Needless to say, found out the apt buildings were built on a burial ground, LOVELY!

I have another one for you. My brother is mentally and physically handicap, he has Cerebral Palsy. Well while living at the apt, he had this picture of jesus standing over a little boy who was praying, the little boy looked just like my brother. The picture hung on my brothers bedroom wall. He would come out of his room in a hurry saying that the picture had fallen off of the wall. We would go look and it was still on the wall. Or we would be int he living room and him in his room playing and we would hear talking, just him. He was talking to someone about nothing in particular. And we would go see what he was doing and he would be setting in front of the picture talking to it. We would ask him who he was talking to, he said he was talking to god. That god talked to him all the time. Still tells us that do the day. I've got tons of stories about my brother and god and ghosts.

Yes, angels are truth, however they dont include soiled lengthy hair!..If the enjoy was once a confident and loving one then it would good were an angel of a few style (the phrase angel effortlessly manner *messenger*), and of direction your Dad would have bought a few truth combined with creativeness while within the *in among* dozing state.. When we have now a non secular enjoy, we will be able to inform which stage, confident or poor* is worried via how we FEEL while the going down is happening, for LOVE is hot and alluring, with the reverse, negativity, feeling bloodless and far away..Angels and household are ALWAYS hot and Loving..

Oh yes! Angels are very real. My aunt was in the hospital and not doing very well. I saw my deceased uncle walking down the hall toward the ICU. He looked at me and smiled. I saw and smelled his cigar. I knew then that my aunt would not be leaving the hospital, but at the same time I felt a huge relief. My aunt died early the next morning.

I have many more such happenings...truly awesome.

Yes, and more than once. I was 13 at the time, and I was having trouble sleeping. One night as I struggled to sleep, I saw a light in the living room. this light was getting brighter and coming closer to me. I know this was my guardian angel. He was beautiful, he was all in gold. He touched me on the head, I fell asleep, and dreamt I was in the garden of eden. and since then I have had no trouble going to sleep.

When my sister gave birth, we still didn't think that she was ready to here about a tragedy that strucked our family. We were worried it would make her not sleep again during her pregnancy, which caused her to get lack- of sleep- induced psychosis twice in the past. After she gave birth, she had a real worst case of it... apparently those who have a history of this tend to get it after birth... it was a combination of that and post partum depression. We thought that it was better to wait with breaking the news to her... after about a year, I thought it was time to tell her before somebody else outside of our family tells her by mistake that our beloved brother committed suicide. My parents didn't think she was ready. Two years passed... and my parents still thought she wasn't ready. Then she and her family announced they were coming to visit me and my family here in Hawaii. I told my parents to tell her or I was for sure going to do it. My breaking the news to her was way passed due. We both cried,... I felt like a huge burden was lifted from me. The most amazing thing though was that she told me, while she was in the hospital after giving birth,... our brother was there by her side, but our brother passed away months before she gave birth! Our Mom confirmed that she mentioned this to her and our Dad, while she thought he was there with them in her hospital room.
Two nights after my brother's passing, I also had a vivid dream about a person dressed in white picking me up at the side of a street. He then drove me to a beautiful house with a beautiful garden and flowers on the windowsill. He led me into the house and to a what seemed like the living-room. There my brother sat and stood up to great me. He looked into my eyes in such a sad way, as if he was telling me how sorry he was for what he did and what it was doing to us. ... and I also perceived that he was telling me that where he was at wasn't so bad- that he was ok..... We were very close- my beloved bro and I. When I awoke I was filled with so much joy having connected with him that way again. I told my parents that my guardian angel guided me to meet him in my dream.... and that he was in a good place. I was 25 at that time.

I had something happen one time that prevented an injury to my leg, my leg swung out of the way of some falling steel, and I don't think I was fast enough to move it (but I did not see any angel or anything).

You had a dream. Memories of people can also make you smell certain things.

PS: It's spelled "Smelled", not smelt.
