Mobile,
Racism exists every where, always has and always will. Most everyone thinks only white's are racist, but the truth is all people are racist in one form or another. It's human nature to think that your own race is better than others (simply pride).
Racism is a fact of life and all anyone can do is try and not be racist, it certainly is a worth while effort.

As an australian living is sydney for 30 years I feel Its my duty to inform that racial and likeminded conotations exist in the minds of people whom associate closely with their closed cultural practices. While every person from any country has the capacity to act in abusive and purely negative ways Its my observation that most aussies dont know how to take racism.

We really wouldn't be defending anything but our own fear of association by ACTING RACIST. Essentially racism is a purely egotisical "**** pot" for the un creative. It really only exists if YOU ALLOW IT!

Definately-Mostly from within the different cultures themselves. Just visit Auburn and Cabramatta in Sydney and you will see for yourself or Sunnybank in Brisbane. There are some who will not employ you if you are not from their culture, reverse racism I call it.
Plus a lot of these so called support groups exist on Australian government handouts, they are parasites on the taxpayers. The only documentation which shoould be multilingual is arrival and departure Immigration and Customs forms.
Did you know the Australian Government pays for immigrants to learn English for up to 510 hours, alas its not compulsory to attend classes.
'One country One people'-now who said that?? Pauline Hanson and she was branded a racist.

Do you live in Australia? Are you Australian? Judging by the way in which you express yourself, I'd say you are of non-English speaking background. Hope your English improves. If you are to be employed in Australia, you need to communicate in English.

Racism? No. Everyone needs tribal affiliation. To be surrounded by people that remind them of themselves. Anglo-Australians who are born in Australia just want to be able to relate to others who can speak English and be friendly.

There are enclaves of immigrants to Australia who delibereately isolate themselves in the suburbs, create ghettoes, refuse to speak English and go on the dole because they would not be able to be unemployed and taken care of by the state back in Lebanon and China.

They refuse to socialise with us Aussies. I say hello to my Chinese neighbour everyday just to be nice and she doesn't even smile or acknowledge that I've just spoken to her. We are being taken for fools in our own country by foriegners who do not care to get to know us.......
