"Nappy brain syndrome" affects women during pregnancy and usually gets eradicated by the time the child is about 18 years old... :D
I wouldn't actually say IQ as much as short-term memory - which is why the cereal usually ends up back in the fridge and the milk goes in the oven...And it does get better after childbirth once the hormones that caused it dissipate.

Studies seem to suggest that this may be the case in some females, but it more often the case that priorities change when the nesting instincts take over.
A female body is ruled by hormones and the results are different depending upon her stage of life. It is what makes living with a woman so exciting!
Do not worry, about 3 to 9 months after the birth you will get a different woman back

Pregnancy doesn't affect your IQ as such, but hormone levels can have an effect on memory and mood. This should return to what's normal for you a few months after childbirth.

i'll probably be accused of being unsisterly but so many of my female pals seems to go 'dumb' for about 4 years after childbirth. i think it's so they can stand being in the company of a small child until school age without going completely mad! it comes back when the kid starts school and they can have an intelligent conversation again..not all women get like this but some do.

'Fraid so!!!
My IQ dropped by at least 20 points with each baby!!!
Put it down to hormones or fatigue or whatever, but I was definitely ditzy for at least the last three months each time!
Good news is that the "Sponge Brain" goes shortly if not immediately after the birth!

being pregnant wasn't painful for me in my view, in simple terms uncomfortable by way of uterus rigidity below my abdomen which led to vomitting for the time of the evening. This became extra so in direction of the top of the being pregnant. With labour, it felt like a tightening/tingling feeling for the period of my abdomen, blended with mentsrual cramps/aching. i presumed if this became what labour in contact, then why do lots of ladies whinge with reference to the soreness?(properly widespread final words) As labour wore on, the contractions felt precisely like a cramp in a calf muscle, while the soreness is poor and the muscle will become rock difficult. different than this soreness became throughout my abdomen. After hours of this happening each and every couple of minutes, a individual will become exhausted and genuine in the previous beginning, extremely interior the transition section, some females have the soreness overtake their entire bodies and a few situations I extremely have extremely thought i became going to die by way of fact the soreness became so extreme. i don't prefer to magnify something like this, it is the actuality. in spite of if it is unhappy which you should color females in a detrimental easy and say that adult men could cope with it extra perfect. adult men already do some issues extra perfect than females besides.
