Johnathan Ross is awful and why anyone would want to watch him is beyond me. The man loves the sound of his own voice and on every show he's on tries to take over. The bleeps are part of his act and are supposed to convey an image of 'care-free don't care' attitude. They are inserted regularly whether needed or not and, let's be fair, someone of the intelligence he boasts to having, should be able to use the English language properly without having to resort to expletives and crudities. The problem is that this guy seems to think that he's funny by doing this. As far as I'm concerned if he never came on TV again it would be too soon.
