The first thing to check is the lid switch or the tab on the lid that activates it. I never saw so many stupid answers in one place before.

Pull it away from the wall, take the back off. Touch all the electrical wires with your bare hands while standing in a puddle of water. This should help you find any wires that may have a short in them preventing the washer from spinning. Hope this helps.

have someone check it out. there is a plastic gear kinda thing underneath it that will shear off if there's too much resistance when it's trying to spin. That's a safety feature to prevent you from doing more serious damage. That happened to us and I think it cost like 50 bucks to get it fixed.

you cant repair yourself.it could be mechanical or electrical so it would be difficult to say what happened and dont let any of these young nuts tell you its that or this. ive been taking care of my own units for over 30 years because my wife and married daughter can wash a huge bunch of clothes

First check the breaker box and make sure it not just a blown breaker. Then if it still doesnt work buy a new one, Parts are hard to find and expensive.
