There are places you can go to be tested for this. It doesn't matter what you score, there's no wrong or right answer. It's basically a career assessment test to see what your personality is and what type of conditions you would prefer to work in (such as outdoors or indoors). They do this testing at the city and county Employment Office (as least where I live SF, CA) and at colleges. After you do the testing, it will calculate what you fit best with giving you about 50 positions you might be interested in and about 50 that you'd least likely be interested in. (take the test with the employment office & college is free, elsewhere costs money).

You can also check out the US Dept of Labor
http://www.dol.gov/
they give descriptions of jobs, can tell you how much the pay range is for the area you live in, explain if the job security is pro or con, etc.

Some advice, don't let not knowing hold you back from making a decison. Statistically it takes a person about 3 to 4 career choices in order to find what they're really passionate about. I wish I knew that sooner, just recently found out the last couple of years. I let not knowing hold me back growing up (now 35) and have nothing to show for all of that time lost. Good luck.

Firstly you should go with your vocation. To be a doctor requires a lot of work, study and money. You will need very good A levels to get into a medical university followed by 5 years of study. After that it's becoming ing a Junior doctor in a hospital for 5 years and then, if you have the money, becoming a General Practitioner or specialist. To be an actress, a good one, means attending Drama School and/or RADA. Acting work is erratic and can either pay megabucks or starvation wages.

Consider a few steady jobs:

Librarian
Bank Officer
Local Government Officer
Financial Advisor
Estate Agent
Receptionist
Clerical Officer
Administrator
Customer Services

Why an actress, very unsteady job.
Doctor- would be good, but since you can't draw stay away from plastic surgery.
Lawyer-you will always have clients.
Scientist-always need them.
And finally how bout a garbage lady- get in a union and you make decent money. Everybody will always have crap to give or toss. LOL..
