Let them grow and bloom until either they look bad or they die. When they die it's a good idea to pull them out and put them in a compost pile so your bed will be ready for new plants next year.

keep the weed pulled, remove flowers that have
faded, water and fertilize, and your good to go!
The most important step to beautiful and healthy
flowers is the deadheading of the spent flowers,
this step keeps old flower blooms from forming
seeds and therefore gives the roots a better
chance to produce new flowerheads. Just remember, pinch,pinch,pinch. One good flower that does not reguire so much maintenance is the annual Vinca and begonia. A good begonia
to try is the Angelwing/Dragonwing begonia. One of my favorite annuals is the Scaevola.
I dont know where you live but I hope you are able to grow Pansies and Snapdragons this winter. Happy Growing !

just keep them watered and weed free. Replace them each year.
