I trust my fiance. He knows me better. Although I have an awesome relationship with my parents, I've lived away from them for so long and my mother is just a bit self absorbed to actually listen properly when I'm talking to her so she doesn't always advise correctly because of that. My partner can repeat back to me word for word what I've said and always supports what makes me happy, where my mum will always judge and tell me why I shouldn't do something instead of why I should. eg I want to work at animal shelter and she said i shouldn't because I'd cry all day. My other half just hands me the tissues and sees how happy it makes me. I love mum to bits though!

It really does depend on the circimstances at the time, of course I'd trust mum and dad with some things more but with others I'd trust my partner (girlfriend) more but who wouldn't honestly say the same thing as me.

i am myself a live example of trusting my gf more than my parents but atlast i was left alone with neither my parents nor my gf.
your parents are really more imp. tha your bf/gf. its not that your partner is not important they are equally important but the first place is of parents

I would say blood is thicker than water if your parents have done nothing major to you or abused you in the past and looked out for your best intersts stick with them.

i trust my parents...but sometimes they must lie me too but not like a friend....best friend or friend are one thing the both lie u not always but sometimes
but parents are ur mom and ur dad....

I trust on my parents even i don't like to but before anything i will trust on my intellect . but don't forget this that your parents have more experiences than your friend.
