I have just read that South Korean Troops have shot at some North Korean Soldiers that had crossed the Demarcation lines between the two countries (did not hit them).
Also North Korea has 1.5million troops on their border, and The south has 700,000 along with 30,000 American troops, surely with all the latest threats and counter threats there is very soon a likelyhood of something kicking off in a big way especially with the added threat of nuclear testing, even China and Japan are showing concerns, what can diffuse this situation?

This could spread if other country's get more involved .But conflicts around the world have been happening since the dorn of the ages .
Its just communications have made them Known. OK the weapons involved as well are also much more devistating than old days .The amount of wars are less now than in the past but thats no concelation if your in one and also one wepon can kill as many in a secound that it yousto in weeks of fighting .
so unfortunate as it sounds. It may take 80 +years to see peace in that region and unforunatly history shows us wars do bring about peace aventualy .
sad though it might sound.

North Korea is a menace to that region, it is owned and run by a rotten family dictatorship which did nothing to stop 3 million of it's own population dying of starvation in the last 10 years fearing any international aid would weaken it's stranglehold on the country.. The ruling elite are vicious thug's, many people have disappeared in North Korea for questioning there governments policies. It is time they were swept away.

there are cross border shootings there all the time. i wouldn't worry. when i was in korea about 10 years ago, they had an emergency and people were talking about it kicking off. it didn't.

it's not just on the korean border. these things simply aren't reported. on the india/pakistan, israel/lebanon even the china/russia border for a while, there have been frequent skirmishes that are not deemed newsworthy. considering 5 of those 6 countries are nuclear powers, it certainly gives pause for thought: young bored men with guns...it ain't clever.

China is an oxymoron...a Communist united states with a free marketplace monetary equipment. bypass figure.... it isn't in the interest of the %, Russia, Japan or u.s. for both Korea's to reengage in a significant conflict. The North Korean administration is insane and may want to bypass to conflict in simple terms in case you want to play with their new nuclear toys, even with the indisputable fact that it is going to likely be antagonistic to the favor of each and every of the above named international locations. so long because the U. S. assures China it received't installation troops north of the thirty eighth parallel, China will probable no longer installation troops to North Korea. South Korea has to a lot to free if it is going to conflict, and isn't any longer searching for one. North Korea might want to probable free, and--as loopy as their leaders are, they understand it--so will probable no longer push issues a lot extra.

Im not tying to talk sh1t about no one but america really needs to stop getting involved in foreign affairs north and south korea have been it war for a while .their problem is they want to invade theres not much u.s. troops can do to prevent it when people have no desire for peace no matter how much u want it to stop .. it wont......u cant stall it for a while but thats just gonna increase the tension.. and make the problem bigger so they should just leave them alone the only thing that can defuse the situation is common sense unfortunitely we all as a generation lack of it
