some websites have images (e.g autotrader car sales web sites) they say open images by pressing on image when i open the image nothing

This could be because the server is taking too long to respond. See if it works on other sites, if it does try the autotrader site again and the server might respond.

I had a similar problem on the ikea website and it was to do with my pop up blockers, i had about 4 of them activated. you only really need one. Or the person who posted the ad may not have included an image. if it isn't either one of those things it may have something to do with java.

The likely explanation to your problem is the site uses javascript to 'pop up' the image into a new window. The 'pop up' is being blocked by a popup blocker or you have javascript disabled.

I know there is some way to disable Images on your browser maby that is the prolbem

i think the problem is with your browser... you must have not set the show images in your browsers settings... this option usually saves some data transfer and hence is beneficial for the data based net users as it removes some unwanted ads.....
