Go to start click on control panel, go to the security center and click on it, then scroll down to bottom click on firewall and then click on disable,, just be sure to enable it when your done, or if you want goggle earth to be able to get thru all the time, then check setting and add it in to the exceptions, the ones that you dont want blocked,

Yo yo Dolphin, here is the skinny...
Go to the start button/ Control Panel/ Security Center, then click on "Windows Firewall".
Choose the "Off" option. Done. But remember to turn it back on after the the install, or you will get freaks on your computer.

Try to disable your windows firewall.
Start>Control Panel>Security Center>Windows Firewall> and then turn it off.

In control panel,click on security icon,shows firwall settings,click disable,then try install

try the firewall method... if it works, fine, you are good to go.. but do not forget to turn it back on... if it does not work even then there might be a problem with your internet setting... try to connect to the net before you run gearth.... once your connection is good then you should not have any problems....

turn your firewall off go into setting then control panel when it has loaded turn it back on
