Which bike is cheap and best for a person of height 6.2 ft

I ride a Honda VTX 1800S and am the same height, very comfortable bike. They also make the 1300 which is pretty much the same bike. There are a multitude of larger cruisers out there that will more than accommodate someone who is tall. Sport bikes are a whole other topic, probably the busa would be the best bet there being that it is really a "sport touring".

I'm about your height. I ride an old Honda CX500, which fits me well, but may be a little TOO cheap if you are scared of maintenance. I take it you're just starting out (Maybe a misjudgement - just expected a more experienced rider to have a dream bike already), and you're in the United States or someplace else with a comparable selection of bikes and no rules requiring a 125 cc bike as your first bike.

Here is a lot of pictures of a tall guy trying out various bikes. Warning, it may take a while to download if you are on dial-up:

My own picks would be the Suzuki GS500, Kawasaki Ninja 250, or almost any single cylinder dual sport (like a dirt bike, only street legal). If you want a cruiser, I seem to fit best on a Honda Shadow VLX or Hyosung GV250 out of the smaller cruisers, but I'm more into standard bikes myself.

I am also 6ft 2" because of really long legs and have owned very awkward bikes such as an RGV250N. Your best would be KLE 750 or similar. if you wanna run a cheap bike and still have lots of fun (do silly things on it), then this is your bike. Cheap insurance and parts, good for fuel and has a big tank so you don't need to fill up every hour. will stand alot of punishment, and great for very long distances with alot of luggage. just dont buy a Hardly Abledson because they are dangerous, expensive to buy, go round corners very very badly, break terribly, accelerate poorly. expensive for insurance and fuel and very expensive for parts. always break. uncomfortable over distances of more than 20 miles. any real biker knows that they are pointless bikes that do not cover one discipline of motorcycling. if you want a sports bike i would go for a 1999 Kawasaki zx7r because they are great value for money, fast and will make you feel small on it and makes a nicer noise than a Harley. which might i add are only good for smooth, straight boring American roads. you wanna bike for cornering, get a supermotard! but they are bad for mileage with their little fuel tanks. would be comfortable for you. trust me mate, I have owned more than 50 bikes in 10 years and done more than 250,000 miles

I'm the same height. The best bike I've riden is the one I ride now, a Harley FXD with forward controls. The mid controls just don't work for those of us with long legs. It's not cheap, but as they say, you get what you pay for.

You ask for best, then add the word cheap! Don't expect much.

Just buy a used bike that fits you. Something about 20 years old.

What do you consider cheap? And what kind of bike do you want sports or cruiser? 6ft 2 is not that tall so its not like your gonna have to find a special size bike. my bf rides a yamaha r1 but also loved his r6. obviously he likes. brand new you are looking at 11200 but you could buy used. honda's are very reliable bikes. try going to a bike convention. they let you sit on them. so do bike shops.
