Many people seem to think that the races are fixed in favour of MS/Ferrari, but why? Give me a convincing reason. Give me names, give me numbers, give me stats, give me facts. What would FIA gain from letting them win? What would FIA lose if MS/Ferrari don't win?

My dear Rockpool248, there is no proof of any fixing or manipulation of the rules to favor Schumi. One previous answer mentions "observation". Well, if you observe real carefully, during the years, and also this season, FIA decisions went both ways. There is no reason for FIA to promote Ferrari. No money reason, no nothing.

The fact that Michael has acted incorrectly a few times during his F1 career has infuriated many people, and many are still over reacting. Was Michael a snake, yes! But Senna was as well. Piquet was...And I can go on through the list of F1 legends. Now, when people who are not fans of Ferrari or of Micheal want to find a reason to hate him, they blame the system, the FIA the F1 Gods, and who knows what else. It is a clear sign of frustration. Frustration stemming from a long superiority, which has bothered many people. You see, psychologically, there are people who admire and respect superiority, and other who cannot stand it. It's human nature. If Michael hadn't won all that he did, probably he would have less enemies.

And guess what? I have seen many of the questions and answers here in this forum for months regarding F1, and although I have noticed many knowledgeable people, nobody has ever mentioned the following:

After the first 3 years of Michael's domination with Ferrari from 2000 to 2002, the FIA and everybody in F1 tried desperately to change the format, the engines, the specs, everything to prevent Michael's and Ferrari's domination again. They tried, and in 2003 the same car and driver won again. They desperately tried more changes to stop that incomprehensible wininng duo, and in 2004 Michael and Ferrari won again. So they tried with more changes, and finally in 2005, they were able to make the Ferrari and Bridgestone weaker "in the name of the sport". So they tried for more than 3 years to break Michael's kingdom by changing the rules on him and on Ferrari. C'mon you all! Can't you be objective for once? This is the truth my dear followers.

Again, is Michael a Saint? No! No way, he is a fox and sometimes his competitiveness makes him act stupid, but he ended up with the most technologically advanced car for many years in a row, and what should he do? He took advantage, and sorry but the only thing he was able to do was winning. The cheating controversy is bull! He screwed up about 3 times in his career. Out of how many reces?????

All that Ferrari/Schumacher domination was it good for the sport itself? No! Some fans lost interest as everybody knew who was going to win. The changes to break Ferrari helped. But after one year of Alonso, look at where we are now: It seems that the Ferrari package is back on top.

Based upon the facts, and I repeat the FACTS, it actually would be in the FIA's best interest to promote the Alonso's of the world, and not another Ferrari title.

So, whoever claims that FIA wants Michael/Ferrari to win is a frustrated peroson who doesn't look at reality, and takes the easy way out by blaming instead of analysing the facts.

Sorry of my outbusrt, but I had to get it out! There are too many idiots who talk and write without making any sense. Including Alsono and Briatore of Renault, who both insinuated conspiracy theories. Shame on them! It must be the stress and the pressure of being caught by the most dominant duo in F1 history. And you know what? If Alonso and Renault lose the title this year is because by saying and feeling what thay are saying atthis stage of the season, they are clearly not able to handle the pressure (and Michelin is not helping). Something that Michael has learned how to do over the years, even by losing his own championships years ago.

i don't think of it makes lots distinction. Keke Rosberg won the 1982 international championship with purely a million win in that season and a grand entire of 40 4 factors. the main important sort of wins from all of us motive force that season became 2 (5 diverse drivers each and every scored 2 wins) so consistency must be rewarded quicker or later. I do agree that the recent factors gadget would not advantages a win genuine and that i could prefer to confirm the hollow between first and 2d place return to 4 factors. i don't think of any factors ought to be rewarded for a quickest lap or qualifying on pole although. Qualifying on pole is fullyyt a fashion of gaining an benefit for the race and as such having pole place is advantages adequate. As for the quickest lap, properly, what's the element? The quickest entire laps is what counts. the element of racing is to maintain concentration over a sustained era and the advantages for that's 10 factors once you go the ending line. while you at the instant are not quickly adequate to declare that advantages then you definately do not deserve any supplementary factors for having a million good lap for the time of the race distance.

Max Mosley is a moron and a relic from the Ferrari age. And we know that Ferrari and the FIA are in good relations, so the Maranello idiots demanded the FIA's help to help MS retire in style.

MS wants to retire on a high note and have records that will never be beaten. I just hope some youngster smashes them.

I am one of those people, I don't feel that I need to give you a reason, all you need to do is look at some of the decisions made in the last few months - co-incidentily around the time that Schumacher decided to Retire (according to the man himself he took the decision in July) - and you will see that it is being engineered in Ferrari's favour.

Why can't it be the other way round ? If ALONSO wins the championship, it might help F1 more because he will be there atleast for the next few years. Cut the crap people.. Nothing is fixed. If things have to be really fair to each and every driver then let them use the same model of the car with the same type of tyres :P.

I want MS to win because Alonso is a kid who cries if he doesn't win the race.

Just to keep the TV ratings high and to milk his presence in the sport as long as possible. After all, Michael winning the championship will do the 'marketing' aspect of the sport good.
