Unfortunately that's life. The things you want always have problems attached, he'll find that as time goes on. Tell him not to worry, to concentrate on having a good time without her while at the same time being really nice to her, if she splits up with her boyfriend he wants to be uppermost in her mind if she's looking for a new one! Otherwise, take him out and entertain him to take his mind off it. He might meet someone else who's available and, you never know, better!

Tell him he should have known the girl better, because one can usually tell if a person has a girlfriend/boyfriend because they are usually brought up in the conversation immediately.
Besides, how can he be upset over something that he really didnt have.

You need to tell him, he needs to face the facts, that she is not available, and that he has to move on from their. Tell him to just take a deep breath, and realize that he can't have every thing he wants. Some things are just not in the cards. Relax and try and go out and socialize, so he can meet new friends!

you should tell him that if it bothers him so much.the only way he will eventually get over it.is 2 talk to her about it,and if she wont choose he either has to break off his relationship with her or accept her and the relationship with the boyfriend and be the other guy,I guess.I would personaaly tell him he should just break it off.once a cheater chances are she would cheat on him even if she chose him over the boyfriend.

Tell him he should ask her who does she choose to be her bf
I think she's not good, so just forget her
It's difficult to do that because he loves her very much. You should encourage him more.
