Because Bapu is not real. It's just a hallucination in the mind of munna bhai. Munna bhai studied a lot about Bapu, that's why he thinks Bapu is helping him. In fact, he was always answering the questions from his own memory. When the expert asked something about Gandhi, which he never studied, his halucination of Bapu couldn't help him.

Because Munna was halucinating that Bapu is with him. Moreover that was a farse scene in that movie. It is hard to believe that a person who studied about Bapu for a week don't know who is Bapu's mother. According to director, Munna was so immersed with Bapu's thoughts and thinking, he started to hallucinate that Bapu is with him. Its is ridiculous to believe a person who studied Bapu with so much of intense concentration, don't know about a small matter about the same. I would say that was slipp off from director point of view.

b'coz the munnabhai didn't know the answers to those questions. bapu gave him only those answers which munnabhai had read. so the answers to ques. which munnabhai had not read were also not given by bapu.

well this is a realistic and motivational movie
bapu was a medium through which the msg of truth, patience and integrity has to be spread
but munna cannot be portrayed as an extra ordinary or abnormal person
he just got into gandhigiri because down the line his soul awakened and he felt that whatever he is doing is wrong
but that thought came into his mind when he was talking about Gandhi
so his subconscious mind made a picture of Gandhi who used to guide him whenever he went wrong or needed him
Its just like you remember God whenver you need him and then u feel that he is around you and in ur mind u conversate with him and you find answers to ur problems
but actually its not God, its you yourself who finds the answers.
Got it.
God has given us all the powers to think, we just need to use our mind in a sound way.

this b'cauz munnabhai did not know the answers of these questions and as gandhiji never told a lie he couldnt help bcauz it was a kind of cheating and he never did it............

Coz actually it was a case of disease and those questions were asked which were not known to munna bhai.....so gandhi even couldn't answer them.

actully it was the CHEMICAL LOCHA with munna....... ther was no gandhiji around him. it was all his imagination. he studied that much that he started thinking that it was gandhiji with him. it was all what he knew..................
