First, go to your husband and try and discuss why this is so. If he denies there is a problem, is accusatory or just refuses to speak with you then go to next step. Seek marriage counseling, if you are interested in saving your marriage. Do you love him and want to remain married to him or not? These are questions you must answer yourself. Do the fighting episodes outweigh the good times you've had with him and are they enough to end your marriage? And if by chance you believe in God and know how to pray, then ask God to help you. Having done all that make time for you and him, special dinner, get yourself all dolled out like when you were dating and spend some time together. Does your sister-in-law live with you? If so, then a family meeting to discuss this would also be in order. She needs to be respectful to you and if she can't be, then I'd avoid her. You have better things to do with your time and may she is just jealous of his relationship with you and she might have problems letting go or respecting the marriage boundaries by trying to intentionally cause enough chaos in your life and marriage to trigger strife. Is it possible she might have a secret crush on your husband or resent your place in the family ? This may not be the case but it could be worth exploring. Good luck to you and your husband.

Joys of marriage. You are at a stage in it that cannot be avoided. The main thing is will you survive it or not. I am afraid I have to tell you it will get much worse, so much worse till that point you just have no more pride, have hit rock bottom and desperately try to repair the marriage or separate. But ofcoure hearing this bad news now could help you work on it.

Learn to ignore his sister in law and try not to offend her. If you can't agree on the little things You're really going to have a hard time with the bigger issues start cropping up. I suggest marriage counsling.

Forgiveness is the best medicine on earth for problems between individuals, companies, states &nations. Just think that u r a supernatural being, born to be a mahatma. Never, never challenge your hub's views. Always try to support him even if u don't like it. After some time, he wud be brought to his senses automatically

Well Get your boots on and Kick him to the curb, he is telling you there that he does not care about your feelings, and so next time he wants sex, just remind him about how mad he got at you over upsetting your sis-n-law, and then he can go to the bathroom and have sex with himself and fall asleep in his own arms, Damn, most guys are so stupid when it comes to women,

That's disturbing. If it was his actual sister (blood relative) I could understand. But the fact is, she is not.
I would look more closely at your husbands relationship with his sister in law for precaution purposes.

MMMMmmmm maybe its me, but I would be keeping an eye on the hubby and the sister inlaw. On the other hand, think about whether things are worth saying to him before you say it. Is it really worth arguing about ??? Takes 2 to fight.......

with your sister in law?...you can bite your tounge to spite your face, or tell him straight up: I am your Wife, either you back me up with her, or I will continue to stand up for myself if you won't...Period!!!....I was 19 at the time, and my crazy sister in law just would not stop...so I knocked the hell out of her....married 27yrs now, and she tried to pull some crap about 8 yrs ago, and I told her I would do the same to her again....she is afraid of me, and I like it that way...and don't care what anyone thinks about it...she is nuts, and I am not putting up with crap from anyone, why should I have to...no one should have to..

When you married him you also married his family. Talking bad about any of them will not work. Commit or divorce because this family will not change for you.
