sometimes - i dont usually have a lot of pennies to play with after the bills have been paid but i do like to buy myself something nice every now and again - i tend to go for earrings or a new top/handbag over something like a camera though.
i suppose it depends how well off you are, if i had more money i'd probably buy myself more expensive things.

I bought myself a car, a digital camers, perfume, jewellery, a puppy.
My fella bought me jewellery, perfume underwear.
I do not believe in this thing about gifts being a sign of how much you love a person - one day he bought me a bunch of flowers - not expensive - infact they were from the garage.. I recognised the wrapper - but I really really loved them and needed cheering up in that way...
When we need something we decide to buy it.
I like other ways of being romantic - like having a lovely dinner cooked for me. He sits me down with a glass of wine and banishes me from the kitchen!
Women like me - normal everyday type of women don't expect to have anything bought for them.

i recently bought myself a laptop, i already have a digital camera and a camcorder, i also have a mobile phone that does everything, i buy these myself, unless of course someone gets me a gift for my birthday or christmas....but i do treat myself because i work hard....

In general no .apart from cloths and shoes .They tend to buy things like camcorders when they need to i e going on holiday.TV when the old one has had it .They are more likely to spend on there partner or children things like ipod games and gadgets
not them all though.
