Actually it depends on how gay you are. But there is one form of commuication known as "Astral Suggestion". It takes many years to master and is a form of "high" medication practised by many of todays iconic gays across the world. At its simplest level one person translocates the essence of "self" to another point in space and time using the vibrations of another as a guide. Personally, I have found that most of the guys I have met that were gay are guys that I never knew or would have never known they were gay.And nothing they did or said was a "sign".But, for more obvious and/or openly gay men, there is one sign that is not really a secret but is defiantly a "gay" thing and it is either the pink triangle or a rainbow flag/ bumper sticker with the exact colors as follows:
Red
Orange
Yellow
Green
Blue
Purple

Homosexuality has a lot of in jokes just like any subculture. They have a pretty extensive slang due tot he opression that they faced over the years but no they don't communicate with an intricate code of hand gestures and tongue clicks.
