in xmen3 three after mageneto was given the cure and he saw what jean was doing he said oh my god what have i done any idea what he was talking about????? 10 points for best answer.......

Phoenix, not Jean was unleashed and was killing everything in sight except Wolferine who has a repairing gene in his dna, but I don't think he said what have I done but what have you done, meaning without him to control Phoenix's rage she will continue to kill until there are no other people on the planet. They took away his powers and suddenly the army arrived and started shooting at Phoenix who stopped their darts and destroyed everything turning it into particles. If you remember Charles tried to stop Magneto from encouraging Phoenix to be herself. She particlized Charles and Magneto did nothing to save him. So, there seemed to be no one strong enough to control Phoenix's rage. She was level 5 they were supposedly level 4. Of course with his machine Charles jumps to level 6 which is why Magneto wears that helmet. Any way, that is your answer, he blamed them for what was about to happen now that he could do nothing about it, plus having grown up in a Nazi Prison camp, he knew what danger power unchecked could result in.
