nothing, you already said you were sorry, and you really didnt hurt him.
Let him get over it.

Let him know that you realize it was a bad move, and regret it now. You've learn from that mistake that you need to put more effort fourth in communicating in the future. Explain your frustration and why you were frustrated, but realize two wrongs don't make a right. Then give him some time to come around and don't push it. Maybe do it in a letter, people tend to read less defensively.
Oh yeah, try to make sure to stick with "I" comments, rather than "you" comments.
examples:
I was frustrated,
not you frustrate me;
I needed help,
not you didn't even help us
I didn't know how to handle my strong feelings at the time,
not you pissed me off.

Well, first of all, it doesn't seem like this person is much of a friend. But it seems like you really want to be friends. The best thing to do is maybe write a note apologizing...if at this point he doesn't ...you'll know that he wasn't much of a friend in the first place, and that you deserve much better. That, and don't go around punching friends...you'll get a bad rap :) Good Luck!

Let it go. You said I am sorry already, What does he want, for you to kneel down ask forgives in a way to degrade you? If he was really your friend he will be back in due time. Don't sweat it any longer. Peace !!!

no matter how or what, it is still nt right to hit someone..
i would suggest, if u do treasure tis fren ship, tell him what is in ur mind, such as u don't mean to hit him.. thn let the matter cool down 1st, no point talk too much cos heis still upset.. time wil proof to him, that u r sincere & r reali sorry for what had happen..
and, u hv to learn from mistake, means learn how to control ur anger.. c",)

Beat it in to him. It worked the first time didnt it. Or at least it got him to stop playing the game. Anyway you have already offered an apology its up to him whether he accepts it or not.

Just give him time. Most young people forget what they were arguing about and in a few weeks he will be over it. Just say you are very sorry and leave it at that. Don't pester him, just say sorry and leave him alone to make his mind up and get over it.

you've done your part by saying you were sorry. let him cool down a bit and then try talking to him. if he doesn't forgive you then move on and learn from it. doesn't sound like a big lost to me.

I would not do any thing else.because you don't need to keep on saying I'm soory. he needs to be a good person, and accept that your sorry.

Just leave the situation as it is...Do not apologise for the next few days...he'll calm down...then meet him personally and explain to him how miserable u feel bout wat u did to him..I'm sure he'll understand...
