It depends on how you think. Like so many other questions, it is only a matter of opinion what you believe.

Rene Decartes though along the lines that all reality may just be an illusion created by something outside our bodies (The brain in a vat analogy, which inspired the Matrix, and lead him to the saying "Cogito Ergo Sum" - "I think, therefore I am")

Socrates however could argue that we remember every moment since the beggining of our soul - many many lifetimes ago. To him all knowledge was kept with us when we die, and that we eventually come back to life, in a new body. (Plato's Pheado)

Lol...I probably went overboard there...my personal view - no, this isn't the only moment we live - that would be the ultimate loss of free will :P

yes. this is the only moment. it's all the same moment. it doesn't matter if you live to be 100 or you die at 10. you would have live for the same amount of time because time doesn't really exist. it's just one moment. the same moment. the problem is our limited perception. here's an example. you are own a train looking out the window. the world passes you by in small snaps of the moment. now there is a man standing on a hill watching the train go by. he sees it all at one time.

Yes. Present time. Live in the moment. Or at least that's the idea. Unfortunately I spend much of my time living in the past & fearing the future. I'm working on it though. This is the only moment you can actually do anything about. The past is gone & the future hasn't happened yet...

It is the only one that matters at this time. Planning for the future is important as is reflecting on the past. However, the actions we take in this moment are of paramount importance which makes this, in my view, the only moment.

By the time you see it, the moment is gone. If you're still here, there must've been another moment for you. In truth, yes, it is the same moment. You changed, time didn't.
