A woman asks for a seperation from her husband. The husband says he loves her but does nothing to try and make her believe it, nor does he express any emotion or geniune concern and that he is losing her. Now if this man really loved her, what would be his reaction to the news of the seperation. Do actions speak louder than words?

Sometimes. But first I would have to know her reason for wanting a separation. If it was a lack of reaction and emotion in the marriage, then he should get busy and work on it. It hurts a person physically and mentally to keep all his feelings bottled up. And a wife (or a husband) needs some feedback besides "I love you" to make a marriage work.

Nope, for the same reason we don't cry. We are taught from a very early age never to show emotion. Some of us learned that lesson.

He is not in love with her. If he was in love with her, the news of separation would have caused him a great shock. He is not sincere with her. He is simply wasting time and also betraying confdence which she had reposed in him. This person/husband is not trustworthy.
