If you have a wireless router then while the Notebook is installing, it will install the correct software for the network and will then connect (Windows XP will, may take installing on older versions) Since the router is holding your network information it is this that passes on things to additional computers attached to the network. Just reinstall and XP should do the rest.

Good luck.

After you reformat you will need to set up the wireless connection again in your wirless computer. If you have your wireless network setup with a keycode password all you should have to do is let your computer find the wireless connection, click on it and it will ask for the keycode. If you have the keycode put it in the window and from then on the wireless computer will remember the keycode. If you do not know the keycode or you have reset the wireless router then you will need to reconfigure the wireless router and your wireless computer too.
