I've got something better than all the above.

Download free 'All in one secretmaker' i got it off Cnet.com but you might find it in other places too.

Every time you close the windows on your pc (all the windows) it automatically wipes everything off, all your history, temp internet files, cookies, etc.

This means if you have a shared pc, you don't have to worry or even think about wiping everything off because it does it everytime you close down and there's a whoosh sound to tell you it's been done.

If you go to a site with a nasty cookie or automatic downloader, it jumps in as soon as you close the window to cut it off and delete everything.

It also has a brilliant anti spam sortware that works with outlook that 'learns' your email, it teaches it's self what's good and what's spam sending the crap automatically to the bin.
The longer you have it running, it gets better and better.

How brilliant is that and all for free?

Go into tools, internet options, general tab and delete "history". Beware though cos this doesn't delete them from your whole computer, but unless someone is looking and has computer know how they won't be able to find them.

Cure 40 has given the fastest route; if you want a more thorough clean then try Ccleaner , Ad-Aware SE Personal and Ewido. They act as privacy tools, deleting references to your activity on your pc. I don;t know how 'deep' they clean, but it would defeat the average pc user.
