Have you ever shouted out random numbers when someone's counting?

I whisper very, very gently when bank tellers are counting my notes.

You can see their lips moving almost imperceptibly as they do this. Once they get to about 'three' I create a diversion (my favourite is grabbing pens off counters, while saying loudly: 'hey, there it is...whoops, chain...not mine then...)

As they finish glaring at me, I whisper 'seven', and they bend their heads low and just continue from there.

Sawn-off shotguns? Pfffbbbbbbtttt.

Ahh, now that's a classic. Pretending to play a tiny trumpet and doing a silly dance whilst someone is in the middle of an important phone call is also good. And lets not forget wobbling the table while someone's trying to build a pyramid of cards.

Yes, and it's a fantastic way to make new friends! People really love it when they've been counting for over a minute and you do that.

As a kid I used to do it to my mother when she was counting stitches on her knitting. She cured me with aversion therapy, every time I did it, I got a clout round the ear hole. Good stuff that aversion therapy.

You know Bingo? Sometimes I call out the same numbers as the caller.

Yeah I always do it!!!! but it is REALLY annoying tough when my friends do it to me, especially if you are counting something important. LOL

yes when someone is stock taking and they are counting small things like washers

Yes me and the other half always do this to each other, but then again we are really annoying.
