Call the bank and let them know your concern, it could also be that you may have made another transaction that you forgot about, honest mistake...Best advice, call your bank and they will explain to you what the charge is..If it is the same transaction, take your receipt to the bank, and they should credit you the difference

Chances are that the month period was over before there was a refund. You see, when you stay in a hotel, rent a car, eat at a restaurant, or other things, when you use your Debit Card, those places usually have a hold larger than that of the actual charge. Of course, these places release the rest of the amount over from the hold, it may take some days though.
If you are still worried, call the back and confirm that the hold was released, if not then you can call the company that charged you.
The hold is usually there for purposes of extra charges, in a hotel for security deposit, in a restaurant for a tip, if there is one. They usually close your account that very evening and release the hold back to the bank, but the process can take a few days, sometimes even weeks.

That is how it will show. Any number of complaints u will fail. The biggest fraudster is SBI. If u r keeping an ATM cart bank with smaller banks like city union, federal, Tn Mercantile or if u are in abroad choose accordingly. They atleast reverse the debit immdly to avoid loosing the customer. I have lots of this cases in india and people have fed up with the banks.
SBI, ICCI, HDFC are No I Culprits.

I would go to the bank and ask them about the difference. It could be either the banks or the merchants fault.

If they are overcharging you, call the company you made your purchase from and ask for a refund. If they don't help you, call your bank and ask for their advise, if you made every attempt of resolving the situation in a friendly way and you didn't receive any help, request a charge back for the amount of the overcharge

If the transaction took place recently, you should contact the merchant who processed the transaction. If the transaction took place awhile ago, then contact your bank. They will then provide you the necessary steps to dispute the transaction. Good luck!
