I'm sure that if your belly is showing, it's not that much. It probably looks more like you've just eaten too much?
Some women's bellies show sooner than others, especially thin women. The tone of your stomach muscles and if you've had previous abdominal surgery also plays a part on when your belly starts to show. Women who have had previous children will likely show more than a mother who is pregnant for the first time.
The reason for your belling "showing" is that your uterus is getting ready for the baby. The blood vessels in your uterus is getting an extra supply of blood to accomodate the baby.
Have you gone to see your OB/GYN (doctor)? If not, you should see him/her to help ease your mind. Your OB/GYN would be best at assessing your situation. I'm sure you're fine, though.
Best wishes to you and congratulations on your pregnancy!
:-)

It honestly depends on how your body is built, but I do believe that 5 weeks is a little early for your belly to be showing (the baby is like the size of a pencil point.) I'm 13 weeks along, fairly thin, and I'm not showing at all yet and I honestly don't expect to be showing for a little while still. But a lady at my work was showing at my stage and she weighs as much as I do (I kind of suspect twins, she hasn't had an ultrasound yet.) I think your belly is other factors. It's not really your uterus showing yet because your uterus hasn't expanded that much yet in pregnancy. Being 5 weeks along means your baby has only been in around a couple of weeks. Are you feeling bloated or constipated? I know I was constipated early on and it made my tummy stick out a little bit more. Good luck. There is always a chance of multiples being the cause of your early growth, but honestly, the babies would still be too small to really start showing yet.

you are more than 5 weeks, the baby is still a little germ for nearly another month. because you can not find exactly how far you are for a while yet then maybe you a further. a heath care worker can tell by just feeling your belly.maybe you should do that. Also if you are having cravings you might bloated. which is what happened to me. i thought i was having twins i got big that quick.

At 5 weeks your baby isn't big enough to make you show. There's a possibility it could if you're having multiples, but chances are good that you're either gaining weight, or you could have distension from gas or constipation.

i think of what you're seeing appropriate now could be basically variations on your physique because of the being pregnant. we tend to develop into bloated very early in being pregnant. We certainly tend to start to place some weight on quite early besides. Who is familiar with nevertheless. each and every physique is diverse and each being pregnant is diverse. So it may be achievable. it quite is not lots your toddler's length, yet each and every little thing else it is starting to be. Your uterus is engorged to feed you toddler and you apart from would have a placenta starting to be besides. to no longer point out the spreading of the hips that I even have chanced on befell very early for me. you apart from would have some water weight besides. even nevertheless it is early. You savour your being pregnant and your starting to be physique. it quite is a great time on your existence . savour each and every 2nd. have self belief me, it form of feels like it takes perpetually, yet on an analogous time you would be keeping your toddler very quickly. virtually in a blink of a watch. Congratulations and function relaxing with your being pregnant! I desire you an extremely uncomplicated one and an extremely uncomplicated transport.

Generally if you are "showing" that early, it isn't necessarily from the baby, obviously, since he's microscopic... what it's from is your uterus growing and moving. What you are seeing is actually bowel distention - your bowels moving to make room for your uterus. Congrats!
