Yes. Many African countries have had these same problems since before I was born. They have droughts, corrupt governments that rape the people, and warlords who slaughter masses. The system in their countries don't give them a chance. If USA really wanted to help, they'd clean out these overbearing African rulers and rescue these people. But... ah.... they have no oil.

No because it only affected the Sudanese people. Nothing vital to capitalist countries are in there,but I am surprised that the People's Republic of China did not get involved considering that they want to win the hearts and minds of the world so as to see China as a caring and great country. The Sudanese have not exported terrorism like Afghanistan. Iraq also did not export terrorism. The only scenario that could be considered the same is that people are getting killed by religious people. The Sudanese might be under the influence of the Wahabis which are extremist of Islam and not recognized like the Shias and Sunnis are.

No, that is Iran right now. Darfur is more like the genocide in Rwanda where the U.S. did NOTHING.

What is the similarity? The world has basically ignored what has happened in Africa. The only thread in common is the role of the Islamofascists.
