always say a prayer and dont forget to do things good,and if someone will ask you a help or asking for a food to eat,specially the poor people,help them and spread the good news of the lord to evryone,always do good things to others..

Just accept God into your heart and tell Him that you are going to leave things into His hands, pray often and talk to him just like you are talking to a friend, he always listens. Find a church to go to to volunteer help to the needy, forgive others that have hurt you and live a good clean life......

While you might see feeding the poor is Good, that can be seen as bad. Let me explain.
People feed animals in city parks. However, there are signs that say dont feed them because when you feed them, they start breeding and then you get an infestation. THen now you have squirrels living in your attic or pigeions crapping all over the place more than it has been.
Now, I am not saying that feeding the poor is a bad thing. Yes, they are people and they are hungry and they need to eat. But then they rely on you to feed them instead of trying to get out of their situation.
In fact, what I am trying to say is, there is no Absolute Good or Absolute Evil. Most actions, if you see far enough, has an good and a bad effect. Your faith in Christianity is commendable but to some people, like myself, absolutism does not work.

Prayer is your communication with the Father.
Reading the Old and New Testament is the Father communicating with you.
Generally both activities will bring you closer.
Reading about His Son will give you some idea as to what he wants you to do.

That's not much of a question.
To get closer to God you first have to realise who God is. Fighure this out for yourself. Meditation, prayer and reflection are the most, well, personal ways to be intimate with God. Helping the poor and whatnot is actions that either come from you trying to help God, or you trying to help others (whether you're made to or whatever).
I think the closest way to be with God is to trust him.

Corrections:
1) Spread the good word to those who want to hear it. Don't try and force your beliefs on others because that is wrong.
2) Get out of the church. If you truely believe in god, pray to him on your own, be true to him, and do good things. You do not need a middle man to talk to your god. If he is truely everywhere, he doesn't need a priest to stand before you in order to hear your prayers.
Churches are what is wrong with most religion, not the religion itself. Man does not need churches. Man can talk to whatever they believe in just fine without a priest there.

If you want all of God you have to give Him all of you. How? You confess your sins to Him everyday. You ask forgiveness. You spend all day with Him,talking with Him,going places with Him,praying with all your heart to Him until you are exhausted.Then you rest with Him.And you do it agin the next day and the next until He encompasses all you do.Before I found the love of God I was so dissapointed and starved by the love of man I could barely make it through a single day. I cried from starvation and the Lord heard me and now I am so overcome with love from Him I fall on my knees daily and thank Him with all my heart and soul. It is not the love you receive,it is the love you give. It is not a disappointment to love people more than they love you,it is a goal. But it is also a goal to bring the love of people to God,for it is what He desires most.

well there is actually no need of marketing god cos all of us know him,the best thing to do is a lot of social work,help the poor and needy,visit an old age home or orphanage and try to spend sometime there,helping and listening to the ones who have no one to talk to......good luck!!
