Why buy a harly? Everyone believes a Harly, or motorcycle, will get them attention and put them on the 'spot light'. Well, that's true, but they don't get the attention they bargained for. Here's some reasons I think you should Not get a Harly:

1: You have alot of chances of getting hurt.
2: They are 'Red Lights' for Police officers, and are liable to get you way too much unwanted attention.
3: You can't exactly use it for anything BUT transportation.
4: You can only fit two people on there.
5: Most girls don't find Motorcycles attractive, even though alot of guys THINK the girls do. ;)
6: Alot of people associate Harly's with over-weight/ under-endowed/ or 'cocky' people.

Okay, enough about the Harly. Lets talk about this boat. Alot of people don't want boats. One because they cost alot more money than just the amount you spent on buying it. Need money for maintenance, a place to store it, etc. BUT, look at these good reasons to buy a boat:

1: They normally last alot longer than a Harly would ever last.
2: Parties! You could throw a party on that thing.
3: If you wanted to, you could spend nights in that boat. Alone.. Or, with your romantic partner. Feel the swey of the ocean, the call of the birds, the cool breaze of air, the peace of eternity spread out before you.... Romantic.
4: Think about all that privacy you would have out on the water.
5: You could fish, swim, paint, throw rocks, speed, whatever notion you wanted to.
6: ALOT less liable for injury or unwanted attention from those nice police officers. =D

But think for yourself. It's your money, spend it how you want to. If the Harly's what you pick, go ahead. But I would go for the boat. How many people can tell their grandchildren that they owned a boat? Alot less people than the ones who say they owned a motorcycle.

First of all for the person who didn't understand that you said that you can't afford both of them and not either... please read before you answer...
Now to your question.... You don't need either and this is definately only for play (one does have to have toys). I think a Harley is now a days a little bit too common. Everyone is getting one and they use for regular transportation (gas prices and all)... But we are talking about a toy here so go for the BOAT... It's luxurious to have a boat. It's beautiful to see one being hauled. One can only imagine where the guy w/ the boat is going... Is he having a party? Maybe just a long fishing trip? I think it's cooler! GOOD LUCK DECIDING! Let us know what you decide

I think boat.
Getting a Harley is something only you, possible a second person can enjoy.
Whereas if you get a boat, it is for family or group of friends to enjoy.
You probably won't use both that often, by what you are asking us. Riding often is almost a lifestyle. You tend to engage yourself with other Harley riders, go to events and runs or what not. Ride far just to go to a bar.

But a boat is wonderful. Absolutely a boat.

hmm, boat seems safer then a harley, but then again you can have more fun w. a harley, but everyone can have fun w. a boat.

get the Harley, the value doesn't depreciate as rapidly as a boat, and you will get more use out of it with less maintenance.

Hmmm
Harley- easy to access, low storage fees, big repair fees
Boat- Great to play, high storage fees, more people can ride it

I can't decide either, but can I have a ride once you do?
