Humans evolved from monkeys by way of branching an extra genus , the Homo spp. Believed to be due to having lost ground and habitat to monkeys.

Yes , we lost the war with monkeys and was forced to find new grounds.

The ape domain thereby stayed intact and WE went onto the plains and gave up the trees !!

There , it was the Australopithecus and they extincted. Principally you are right. The Homos drove the Australopithecus to extinction , all eight of them.

We also drove the Neanderthals to extinction.

While I realize that education is not your strong suite and you think that the only book worth reading is The Bible, I am going to try to explain a few things before you quit reading this.

NO ONE EVER SAID THAT MAN DESCENDED FROM APES!

What Darwin and others have said was that millions of years ago, mankind and apes had a common ancestor. This ancestor evolved in different directions, one branch become human and the other become other primates.

While the word mutation may have, to some, a pejorative ring to it, the fact is mutation is happening all the time, if you know where to look for it. How many time have you heard of an antibiotic resistant strain of an illness occurring?

These strains are the process of evolution. It may be that out of millions of bacteria, only one is resistant to an antibiotic, but, as the others die this one, and its descendants, will thrive. In higher, more complex, life-forms it may take years or decades for a new generation, in simple life-forms, like bacteria, it make take only hours or minutes, this is why we notice an evolutionary change in bacteria and virus but not in say elephants or humans.

Did I say we don’t notice a change in humans? Well that is not strictly correct, it is just that these changes are slow and may take centuries before the changes become noticeable. Look at the average height of man, it has been going up for centuries but it is not noticeable from one generation to the next, only when you look at historical data does the change become evident.

I am not going to try to explain why man is getting taller, that would take to long, however, if you look at a description of a handsome man, he is usually described as tall.

Of course many believe that evolution and other sciences are “curious arts” and all books about them (unless denouncing them) should be burned (Acts 19:19), and that I will suffer eternal suffering for believing this, however, I believe in a more merciful God, one who has compassion for his creations and may, just may, reach down and allow one bacteria to live while all others are being killed by, what is to them, poison.

We didn't evolve from monkeys or apes. We evolved from the same primate from which apes evolved; we all had a common ancestor. Why are they still here?, well, we haven't finished killing them off yet.

homo sapiens or humans evolved from apes but it was not a full process some apes only. then, we can reproduce young ones. i think the other apes or monkeys did not adapt the changes or evolution.

Using your theory, we say that humanoids "branched off" of monkey lines. They didn't necessarily morph into humans, some just had more human-like characters and slowly evolved that way. Thats why we draw evolutionary trees, to show the branching
