Not a chance. But India will possibly be the first runner-up.

China will be a superpower within the next 3yrs while India is expexted to take next 10yrs to become one. Just look at the income disparity of China and India. We have international trading partners with hundreds of China companies, but not even 10 Indian partners. And another issue, so long as India gets bombed by extremists, we will always have reservation towards investing in India. Go and get rid of Pakistan first, than we'll talk business.

There is no comparison between these two giants. They are today's world's big economies working with double digit growth plans. India is somewhat slower, being a democratic country (It has to consider everybody's views regarding liberalisation, opening up of various sectors). But viewing the vast educated and highly qulaified human resource, India is much ahead in the race of Intellect.

I hate to tell you, but no. And using this chance I would like to add something: US companies hire people in India to work as customer service. You have no clue what you are talking about. I called HP, I called Toshiba and a couple more companies. All people on the other end were Indian. Useless. I do not understand why does US pay you money?

No. India is extremely protectionistic in it's economic policies and this has severely hurt their economic development over the years. India should adopt china's economic system and China should adopt India's political system.
