We all know that college football rankings are not correct, so who do you think should be #1. Yea the Buckeyes are good but thye are in a weak confrence and so is USC. The SEC is without a doubt the toughest. Look at Florida, they are scheduled against 5 other top 25 teams this year many and four of those are also in the SEC. The SEC has never been ranked as high as they should.

I can somewhat agree with you. Ohio State is in my opinion over-ranked and so is USC. USC has been struggling in the past couple of weeks to beat unranked teams and may even get beat today versus another unranked team. Ohio State won against then-ranked #13 Iowa, but Iowa's quarterback generously turned the ball over numerous times, not saying they would have been much of a threat anyway. They won against the then-ranked #2 Texas Longhorns. Come on now, Colt McCoy was still wet behind the ears and had barely been weaned from his mama. But on the other hand, Auburn has been struggling as of late also, barely winning against unranked South Carolina and may even get knocked off by Arkansas today unless Tommy Tuberville can come up with more trick plays. Had it not been for the blind officials they would have lost to LSU. Georgia does not even deserve to be where they are right now and will lose big time to Tennessee today. WVU has an outstanding running back and a quarterback that can scramble about as well as any I've seen but that's all they have and they don't play anybody. You mentioned Florida's schedule. They do have one of the toughest schedules of anybody ranked in the top 25. But they have to win against those teams to get the ranking they perhaps deserve. LSU also wants to redeem themselves because they feel they were slighted by the officials and will probably beat Florida today. If they do however win and beat all the other teams in the SEC they will be the number 1 team in the country.

It is too early to determine who is #1. Rankings are a waste of time and lead to more bad than good. Do a tournament like basketball or playoffs like the NFL.

Ohio State beat Texas and Iowa, two very good teams and both on the ROAD. That speaks mountains. Many mock OSU for beating a "weak" non conference team in Northern Illinois. They have one of the top RB in the country - Garrett Wolfe.

"Yea the Buckeyes are good but they are in a weak confrence".

Huh?

First of all do all SEC fans don't know how to spell? It's conference dude. See what a Big Ten education can do? :)

The Big Ten has Ohio State as a top team. Michigan is in the top 10 as well and will make a run all season. Iowa is a very solid team. Wisconsin (as they usually are) is under the radar and can do damage later in the year. Michigan State is struggling now, but they will rebound and end up decent. Penn State and Purdue fell back a bit but are competitive.

I agree the SEC right now - today, from top to bottom is better, but what counts is in the end.

Your SEC arrogance is laughable.

For example, Wisconsin kicked around Auburn in the Capital One Bowl last year. No one gave us a chance. That was AWESOME!

Hawaii performs no person. in basic terms on the grounds which you're undefeated does not recommend you're sturdy. As you're growing to be in basic terms observed with Kansas. They have been ranked #2 because of the fact they have been undefeated, #4 ranked Missouri beat them notably honestly. If Hawaii performed LSU's schedule they had be fortunate to win 3 video games. I agree a playoff equipment would be an enhanced element, yet that doesn't bode properly to your arguement, because of the fact Hawaii would be out first around, in the event that they could make the playoffs in any respect.
