I have a lot of movies that I dub my favorite. I would have to go with Serenity and Boondock Saints.
Boondock Saints has great acting and an incredible story. It really makes you think. "Is killing for good... GOOD?" ... And I'm in love with Sean Patrick Flanery. So, sue me.
Serenity is the movie sequel to the short-lived series Firefly, by Joss Whedon. Joss made the Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel series. He's simply a great writer, producer, everything! The script is awesome (especially as he didn't have one when Universal picked it up), the actors are perfect, and the special effects are mind blowing! Its simply a good movie!
I could list a hundred movies and not be done. But these two are definitely my top choices.

Rent.
I knew it would be my favorite the very first time i saw the preview. The music started and the screen was still black and i knew i would like it. just the way the song and preview made me feel. i will always remember the first time i saw it. all the emotion. and the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th times too. The last 3 times i saw it in the cheap seats. but i can remember it all. I had most of the movie memorized even b4 it came out of theaters. then there were smaller things. like the way certain scenes were shot, and the way the camera moved around sometimes.
The whole movie just made me feel good. and i feel the same everytime i watch it. and that sounds really cheesy, but its true.

well I LOVE lots of movies but I have to say The Nightmare Before Christmas rates as one of my MOST favorite....why?? because the claymation is AWESOME!!! and also because it makes me feel like a litle kid everytime I watch it, I absolutly love that movie...also Monsters Inc, reason being the same as I love the way it makes me feel inside also the story idea is SO great, I mean to think monsters live in an alternate world & scaring is their job & not something they do cuz they are nasty old creatures...kinda the same in TNBC, they're not mean or evil its just their lifestyle they do what they do because, well, thats what they do!!! LOL LOL!!!

I liked "Napoleon Dynamite" because it was original, fresh, creative and funny. The pace was slow and meaningful. I liked "Attila", and "Phantom of the Opera", because Gerard Butler was in both of them, and I like him. Too bad he did not get the new James Bond, as the one that was selected was not that special. Butler has the "X" factor that Sean Connery had. It is hard to find that in most actors these days. Butler was the Phantom, and the lead as Attila the Hun, which was a HBO special made into a movie. I just like the sex appeal in both of these movies.

Gone With The Wind. Romance, thriller, war, psychological. What more could you ask? And it was the first "grown-up" movie my parents took me to. And my BROTHERS didn't go. Just me and them. And even tho' she had seen it a dozen times, my mom still cried. And I still do, too.
