MBA equips you with the modern way of running businesses to be jack of all trades. With the sophistication our global village is going into we need superqualified individuals who can speak and understand the business language. It is meant for those geared for strategic positions in organisations.

Soon it will be a DBA not for academics but professionals who are set to make money for their employers and or themselves.

Take care with which university you want to pursue the MBA. Look around and match it with what you intend to do. every MBA has its own emphasis of study you may be repeating what you know already.

Thanks

This golabl situation has been changed. Now all business are run of modern techniques and employers need modern qualified personals to run their business in a effective enviornment. The old degrees like MA, BA, MSc etc has lost their values as compares to MBAs. You must be aware that in MA or MSc we study only 10 subjects whereas in MBA we study 20 core subejects and 4 specialize subjects about our prospective field. So we can say that an MBA is more effectively work than a simple MA.
