In the Arab / Islamic media they always criticize the modern world and America, they view them as a threat to the islamic world with what we call freedom of speach , and thought .
as they violently invite our privacy and condemn our way of life.so why do they get mad if we gave our honest opinion ?

Long history of colonilization, followed by cultural and economic imperialism are strong reasons. Other is the blind support for Israel (espicially Americans) and and recently many reasons added: Iraq, Afganistan wars, Guantanamo prison, steriotyping all muslims as terrorists, humilations in airports and suspesous looks every where etc. You really can not see any reason for them to hate you? I think your media is not telling you every thing, or may be they tell you the silly reply: because of our freedom!!

It varies from person to person.I personally respect every religion but can never bear anybody disrespecting mine.I have many friends from every religion.I never felt that religion mattered in any way.Its a whole complex issue.Its kinda ...you reap what you sow

its just a difference in culture i guess. most countries still have arranged marrieges and us in the us frown upon that......same thing........well not the same thing but see what i'm trying to say......i just used a bad comparison.
