black people complain too much?

i'm black. why do you black people complain so much? I'm not black I'm African American. Don't call me African American I'm black. Don't call me black my skin is brown. the hell? make up your mind? White people don't complain about being called neither do Hispanics/Latinos. what's the big deal? you aren't any less black if someone calls you African American and you aren't any less african american when someone calls you black

Well, everyone is entitled to their own oppinion. Black peole seem to get treated badly over there so I think they have plenty to complain about.

I don't believe you are black. If you WERE black, your question would have been something like "why do black people complain so much?", not "why do YOU black people complain so much?"

That said, it's a total stereotype to say black people complain too much. ALL BLACK PEOPLE?? Every single one of us??? (I really AM black, by the way.)

I could really care less whether someone calls me Black or African-American. I just want to be seen as an individual. I want people I encounter to just take some time, given the opportunity, to get to know who I am as a person and THEN form an opinion, rather than forming an immediate opinion of me based on my race.

As far as complaining goes, I have alot of things in my life to be thankful for. I've found that not taking those things for granted, and being actively thankful for them every day has affected my life in many, many positive ways. Complaining just creates negative energy and really doesn't accomplish much.

Still, I cannot even begin to tell you how weary I am of black stereotypes. Imagine living every day of your life dealing with that.

i'm not sure why black people complain so mcuh when it comes to things like that. i'm black and i know sometimes when someone say's black of african american a certain way i take it as offensive, so i ffle the need to correct them and explain my reason behing doing so. am i even making any sense? i know what i'm trying to say i just cant get it out lol :)

I think that many are stuck in a time warp. Really, I cannot understand that race is the first thing that some people see. This is a very old argument that hold little to no validity today.

Everything's the last straw with black people. Even the tiniest infraction involving someone who isn't black escalates into a whole event! No wonder most folks who aren't black make a point to minimize contact.

I agree with most of what you say but you're wrong about Whites and Hispanics. You're one of those people that will go out your way to criticize your own while praising others who are just as or more guilty. You need to check yourself!

I'm a saint and I want people to call me holy. I'm holier than average, so call me holy. I don't give a hot damn about my ancestry I just want to be called holy. Otherwise, why did I even bother getting sainted?
