you are hiring cab so santacruz to borivali (east) will take around 30-35 minutes...airport falls on east side only. And for bombay central around 40-50 minutes depend on traffic.

It takes around 60 to 65 minutes of travel time to reach santa cruz airport from bombay central in the afternoon by taxi. The fastest route is via the bombay central, worli naka, shivaji park, mahim, bandra road and then on the khar-santa cruz route of the western express highway . From borivali to santz cruz, it will take you approximately 45 to 60 minutes of travel time or less depending on the condition of the traffic. From borivali (west), it may take around 5 to 10 minutes more than the travel time mentioned earlier. This addtitional time is for the cross-over from the west side to the east side on which lies the western express highway. The fastest route is from borivali (west) to borivali (east) and then on the kandivli,malad, goregaon, jogeshwari, andheri, vileparle, santa cruz route of the western express highway. Avoid using any "short-cuts" or "bypass" routes, even if they are suggested by the taxi driver. Since these guys are only looking for a way to make a quick buck. The western express highway is a high speed route with flyovers enabling the free flow of traffic. Hence, this route will be the fastest and best one to use at any time of the day, to reach the airport at santa cruz.

It takes about half an hour for Borivilai to Airport and about 35 to 40 minutes for Mumabi Central to airport

TWO EXACTLY OPPOSITE DIRECTIONS FROM THE AIRPORT. WITHIN 2.30HRS NOT EVEN ONE COULD BE MADE BECAUSE OF TRAFFIC PROBLEMS.
