Easy!

63-x = 2x+3 [bring over the x on one side of the equation]

63-3 = 2x + x

60 = 3x

x= 60/3

x= 20

63-x=2x+3
60-x=2x (minus the 3 to the 63)
60=3x (add the x to the other side)
x=20 (divide 60 by 3)

Hope this helped :)

63 = 2x + x + 3
60 = 2x + x
60 = 3x
60/3 = 3x/3
20 = x

it is easy

63-x=2x+3

transpose the x to 2x or the 63 to 3
it depends of how you want to be first.....

63-x=2x+3

-x-2x=3-63

-3x=-60

then divide it to negative 3

-3x=-60 over -3

then cancel the negatives then it will be positive...

x=20

CHECK

63-x=2x+3

63-(20)=2(20)+3

43=43

63-X=2X+3

take all X terms on oneside and constants on other side... thats it u will get the answer.....

63-3=2X+X

60=3X

now the 3 which is multiplying X is sent to other side so it devides 60.

therefore X=60/3

X=20

Put all the x on one side by adding x to both sides. Put all the numbers on the other side by subtracting 3 from both sides.

63-3-x+x=2x+x+3-3
60=3x

Solve for x by dividing both sides by three.

60/3=3x/3
20=x

Go back and check by plugging in 20.
63-20=2(20)+3
43=40+3
43=43
