Here are two good websites to visit to do freelance work... which are one time jobs that you get paid for in cash or by a single check.
It takes only a few moments to sign up and add your info, then you find jobs that you can do and bid on them.

In my opinion, the internet is a tool you can use to grow a business but not really a place where you can work. For example, if you were already a web designer you could put up samples of your work and post ads to do webs for others.
One way to find out if anyone is "hiring" is to check out web sites you like and look for a page on Jobs. I have seen places that are looking for help but they generally want someone with quite a bit of experience.
There is some good advice and help at http://www.work-at-home.org/
I think if there were really "Jobs" on the internet, we would all be employed -- happily :))

I have been searching for such a honest job for past 6 months, nd till now no luck!
I am very wary of online job/survey stuff now, having been duped twice,
I suggest u also please check out the legitimacy of the job/survey u r joining,
Some widely used resources for checking them are the Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.org) and the national fraud center (www.fraud.org).
You can find more detailed information about a company at
http://tinyurl.com/gtb89
nd plz dont ever pay anything to anyone to get a job!
all the best :)

Chacha.com (seen on Good Morning America last week) is a home-based job (ChaCha hires people to work as a "human search engine, "referred to as Guides," for those that do not, or can't do their own Googling, etc.)
Currently one must be be invited to become a ChaCha Guide. From my perspective, there are still "bugs" that need to be worked out by the company. Such as, training on the online software, is inconsistent, as well as, communication between the Guides and Trainer.

Have you ever thought why would any site pay you for nothing ????? Well i don't know about any site askin you to just refer people not lettin you know their sources of income and makin you hit piller and post but I know that This Internet site pay you cause their clients like yahoo, monster.com and globe 7 pay them for generating sales leads for them :-) when people sign up thru the threads which you spread over chat rooms like yahoo, msn or whatever or forums like orkut and yahoo answers, clients earn money or prospects to earn in future. Then they pay moneycosmos for those sales or future sales and moneycosmos then pay you some of it as your commission . it's like no other bogus or junk system of just refferin others and not knowin where would the money come from ?
so if you wanna try somethin genuine now try http://www.moneycosmos.com/?r=225024
$0.01 per search as well as 50% commission on whatever your referals earn, with a maximum search limit of 200 searches a day. So if each referral maxed their paid searches out per day and you had only 50 referrals, you would earn $3000.00 per month.
