Sweetie, in some states with the parents consent, it's legal. I had one of best friends in high school get married at 15. I am now 45 years old, as a matter of fact, it's my birthday. She and this guy have been to together for 32 years all ready. When it's right...it's right.
She's your friend, so you stand beside her when she making such a big decision. Then you stand behind her when she falls. You only stand in front of her, when you know for a fact that she's making the best mistake of her life...but then she could back off the friendship. So, stand beside her for now...but be there if she falls to catch her. That's what a true friend does.
She's very lucky to have such loving and caring friend like you, and she may need you even more now. Then again, she could be like my friend, live happily ever after.....
God bless us all..............

I don't think it is illegal as long as BOTH sets of parents are in agreement and they sign the proper papers. Is this marriage to be done due to a pregnancy? If so, there are other Legal things that need to be looked at...esp if the groom-to-be is an Adult. Meaning, over the age of 18 yrs.
As for what you say, it won't make a difference. Just be a friend and be there IF this takes place. Trust me, being that young and married, all her 'friends' will abandon her....

The court system will tell her she is too young to marry legally. Try letting her know that she is showing how immature she really is by jumping into a very serious situation so impulsively. Unfortunately, as an adult you do not get the luxury of making rash decisions and emerging from them unscathed as you do when you're a child.

It's legal as long as she has parental/legal guardian permission signed at the court house. Legally, it's OK.
MORALLY, however, she is not mature enough mentally to be married. Modern 15 year olds are not nearly as mature as they were in the earlier centuries, mainly because the "18 is an adult" thing has gone to their heads. Children are not adults until they are mentally capable of maturely handling anything life throws at them. 18 is even too young for most kids now-a-days.
Your concern is understood, however you probably won't be able to sway her or her guardian's opinion. Let her make this mistake, because that's the only way she'll learn. As long as her life and health aren't necessarily at risk, the only thing at risk will be her teenage, immature ego and her feelings when it doesn't work out.

Years in the future she will be able to refer to this event as her 'first marriage'. She will converse with friends and reminisce with other girls about their previous husband(s) and where they are now. And with her oldest child, fond recollections will be shared about the biological father no longer in home, but the step father is there and an eternal reminder of someone she wished she could have met at a more mature time in her life.
Sorry for the pessimistic perception, but I can think of it in no other way for a 15 year old's choice of getting married.

It's not legal in the state of California. But there are states where the legal age for marriage is under 18.

She can't get married without her parent's approval. This is a legal requirement.

Depends on the state that she lives in. I'd say if her parents are cool with it and they are cool with let her go ahead and get married. The Bible doesn't prohibit teenagers from getting married, in fact it says to rejoice with the wife of your YOUTH !Proverbs 5:18 let your fountains be blessed, and rejoice with the wife of your youth;
