ok i know christmas is 2 months away but i need ideas on what i should get my father-n-law. we always buy him crap this year i want to buy something great. some one help

Do like what my wife did. Go to him tell him that all these yrs you were buying crap you want to buy him something special this time what do you think will be the best for you.
You will not believe what he told my wife "The gift I would love is you both promise to live together and happily for ever.
She asked me what I would suggest I told her a diamond studded watch with a leather strap which was his dream during my childhood and he never bought it as he thought it was a costly waste but always said it is a dream which will stay a dream.
My wife got it done and a inscription in it" your son and I will be Hus and wife for ever a promise which is your seclected best gift"
This may not be what you wanted as an ans but you made me go back 16yrs we are happy and together as promised.

buy him a pocket watch engraved with merry xmas dad!! or lotto tickets keeps em in suspense for awhile, a family picure, a nice night out on you and your husband, dont really know
