why ecw is so boring?

my country local tv station has just started showing ecw this week and its the first time i get to watch ecw.and the show is so boring!
and ecw show is only 1 hour? and only main event match is in extreme rules..and the other match is just boring.and the wrestler didnt really use steel chair, barbed wire ,table..ect to win the match....that is extreme?

The problem is that ECW IS WWE. Despite some of the people that made the original ECW a cult following still being involved, they don't get as much say as some people would hope for. Paul Heyman has been relegated to little more than a centrepiece while people like Al Snow and Tommy Dreamer don't have any say in things anymore.
The WWE, led by Vince have moved a lot of non-ECW wrestlers to the show (Big Show, Kurt Angle originally, etc.) hoping their big-name popularity would make regular viewers watch ECW as well, but in doing that have lost a lot of the original fans that watched ECW partly because they didn't like bigger promotions like WWE.
Also, while a lot of the original wrestlers (and no disrespect to them) didn't have a lot of wrestlng talent per se (barring your Benoits, Mysterios, etc.) they relied heavily on doing things other wresters wouldn't, i.e. violently punishing their bodies for the shock value. Under WWE many of these wrestlers aren't part of the company while the few that are (Sandman, Sabu) have been told to tone it down and wrestle in a more WWE style.
Finally,it's been so long since ECW was a regular fixture, many people seem to have a better memory of it than it probably deserves. Sure, it was "Extreme", but there weren't great storylines or much outstanding wrestling. If you're interested in some original-style ECW see if you can get a hold of the DVD ECWs Most Violent Matches. This is the type of stuff that made ECW.
(By the way, I believe they will eventualy be pushing for a regular 2 hour show in the future, but for now have got the 1 hour to test the concept so to speak.)

the reason it is so boring is because Vince McMahon owns it.and i think it deserves 1 hour because i think that's how Long the old ecw show lasted.and no this is not extreme the old ecw is extreme so if you want to see barbed wire,flaming tables and steel chairs go out and get some old ecw videos ecw blood sport is the best one they have.

my kids more into wrestling than i am atm...i remember old matches in big time wrestling w/ names like pat paterson and dusty rhoads...the best part was the tag team matches...the bad guys would cheat and such...especially behind the refs' back...or something to that effect...then the favorites would get all psyched up and come sailing over the ropes on a tag and turn the match around and single handedly at time take out both opposing wrestlers going back and forth landing blow after blow w/ Adrenalin pumping..and the crowd goes wild!...yep...them were the days...hope you can find something like that on the ecw in your area...look for it usually as the last bout...that's when it used to happen on btw..hav a good 1...

i do no longer think of he's very uninteresting, its in simple terms he has no longer arise against all of us (apart from Bourne) who has placed on an exciting tournament with him. i think it is becuase for one it doesn't last as long and the same ppl appear everytime. and when they get new ppl they are ppl from other brands. unlike wwe who finds ppl that no one has ever heard of. also the only special match that ecw has is extreme rules matches while wwe has cage, cell, and tlc. that is all
