I like red licorice candy more, but black is okay, too. I can't necessarily hate it, because I've eaten it a few times. It's good.

I have always loved it. If you really want the best try the black licorice thry some that has real licorice in it. Panda is one brand, & places like Whole Foods have no brand name bulk licorice for you to try.
Natural Licorice is good for the tummy.

I don't like the sweet Licorice, but the dutch double salt one is yummy!!!!
