I want to down load another security, but if I already have one it could hurt my PC. Can anyone tell me how to go threw the steps, and what I have to click on, click open, etc.. This PC was given to me and I don't know how to find out if it has an anti- virus system?

Best way to find is by going to

Start --> Control Panel --> Add/Remove Programs and going through the complete list of programs installed.

I wouldn't worry about having an "extra" anti-virus program, if its that big of a deal. Installing a new program shouldn't mess things up.
