Wow. That's pretty morbid. Horrible! Not much of a choice really. I think the lions would wind up being the quickest, least painful death of the 3. Fire would be the worst, radiation poisoning sounds slow & awful. I love animals so I suppose there would be some satisfaction in feeding them at least! Had to be feet first didn't it? Gee someone has a dark side! Tee hee
If I had a choice I'd rather die instantly with no pain. Hopefully there won't be any lions, fire or radiation in my future!

Definitely #1. I have actually long dreamt of ending my life on the Serengheti in Kenya...maybe when I am 76 or 87. I imagine walking out as an old man, sitting beneath an Umbrella Tree and waiting...and then getting eaten by a Lion. Back to the Earth we go. I think as I imagine it, the first bite would come to my torso, not my feet - that's a little strange / anti-climatic, but given the choices, yeah, definitely #1.

I do have to die but I don't have to die in any of these ways. I suppose if I had to pick one of those, I'd go for being burnt in a fire because most likely I'd be unconscious long before the fire even touched me. Being eaten by lions seems particularly far fetched considering that I don't think there is a single lion in all of Alaska.

hmm, tough question there.
being burnt is nasty, but don't most people die by smoke inhalation in house fires anyway?
radiation poisoning, where'd you pull that idea from? it gives me the impression of a bomb going off like in the tv show (Jericho). i'd imagine that wouldn't be too quick, and also very painful like fire.
that leaves being eaten by a lion. do you think it would be pleasant and just nibble your feet, knees, midsection, upper body and finally head? can you imagine being alive the whole time and not being able to stop it?!?
dude, i'm not sure, coz they all seem to painful and i want my death to be calm and pain free. if forced to pick on i'm going with lion coz at least then i help the food chain in some way.

WELL, lets see now, i was a firefighter for 22 years, so i really don't want to burn to death, i have been exposed to radiation (sun burns, really hot house fires), and i really don't think i would like to be eaten feet first.......just blow me up with TNT around my chest, shoot me in the head, and have me bite down on a cyanide tab, all at the same time.....

Where is the rationale of your question? Obviously anyone facing death would like it to be fast. And suicide is a viable alternative to those fates you selected. Post scriptum...lions begin with the organ meat...heart, liver, etc before they get to the feet.

death is a must for any human
if i had to die,i would rather have too many sleeping pills so that we can have a nice warm sleep
we dont even know when we will be dead!

having a painfull death i my estimation means that u have done a lot of sins for whichn u r nowsuffering

I hope the IF is a huge one so I do not have to die.
But, thanks, you have offered choices. And I know you are not a sadist.
Here is my sincere answer. I would like to be eaten by lions - I am told they are not like human beings - they eat only when they are hungry.
So in death too I would be somewhat useful !!

you leave me with not much choice. If I had a choice to select the mode of death, then I'd rather die in bed peacefully without having to go through pain. the pain in life is enough and equally insurmountable so I choose to die silently and peacefully. please add more points so that we can have more options. all the three modes which you mentioned involve pain and suffering.
instantaneous death is better, what say?!
