Girl, I thought it was just me. Thank you
I think it is a waste of money for my fiance to buy me flowers that will die in a couple of days, candle light dinners make me laugh because it is funny, and what is the point of lingerie? You only wear them for a second before they come off...what a waste of time to put them on and try to look good. Don't seek medical help. It's just not your thing. It's kinda like some women have more femininity than others and will cry at all happy and sad movies and some women can't do that. Some women get bored of sex and turn off the hormones at 30 and others have sex cravings until 100. I am a psychology major and it is amazing how Psychologists and medical doctors think we are supposed to all be the same or we should go to a counselor and get put on medication. Be yourself and be happy. If you do romantic things and it is not you, you will feel anxious, overwhelmed, nervous, and it will ruin the whole purpose. Plus, who likes a fake person? I am sure you are romantic in your own way but you just don't know it.

You were probably raised by parents who did not have romantic souls.
I don't know if you're a man or women, but in my opinion, most people need romance in their life. If you meet someone you like a lot or love, send nice cards for no reason, just that you're thinking of them. Bring an occasional bouquet of flowers when going on a date, or wine or candy. Cook a thoughtful, candlelight dinner for your date with soft jazz in the background. Be attentive and complimentary. Don't bring up their faults. Remember dates such as the first time you went out together and get a little gift to commemorate the occasion. By now you have a pretty good idea of what's romantic. Go for it and see the pleasure you will both get out of it. Good luck you romantic fool.

It's because you're afraid that being romantic may lead to other things. Like your lover finding out that you have a teenie weenie.

it may be physiological, meaning something is wrong with your brain. or it may be psychological, meaning you may had a bad exoerience in the past. go for psychological evaluation.
